They should be be renamed "Senior Kill Center!"
When he was at the hospital he was jovial,cracking jokes, asking for mt dew, doing crossword puzzles, and now he's just laying still. Eyes closed. Not talking to any one. When I ask a question, he'll open his eyes and whisper an answer, and then close them again. Its like he's giving up! He was not like that before he left the hospital."
My Sister is a registered Rn and came in and read them the riot act, called his surgeon to tell him they are not following his directions and an Ombudsman.
Not enough staff. It's almost impossible to find anyone to help. Most workers weren't any help at all. The younger gals were awesome and so helpful once you found one. One gal was severely overweight and was not an ounce of help it was extremely unprofessional.
I dont usually make a stink about anything, but this has become life and death.
DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS. They dont even deserve a single star. I should be able to rate them by Grim reapers. I give them 5 grim reapers!
My Dad was sent from the hospital to Bear River Valley Care Center in Tremonton. The Administrator came and got him and took him over there. Dumped him in the room to never return. A nurse wandered by and asked, "Can I help you!?" No idea why they were there.
They did not secure Dads meds for just having Hip surgery. So he went from 12 Noon to 7pm with nothing. Then from midnight to at least 10am the next morning with nothing. No antibiotics for his pnuemonia. Asked for a glass of water and 6 hours later.............nothing. Feel pretty helpless with this Senior Kill Center! And this was just the first 24 hrs.
Oh let me see: Locked in bathroom for 20 minutes. Pull assistance cord average 25 minute response. Medication delivered 9 hours late. Lied to several times by staff. Short handed felt bad for CNAs tried hard. Stayed 24 hours and left...
